What you need to know when renting a car?

Many people rent cars , but not all of them are aware of the various restrictions of rental companies, as well as the basic rules that should be followed when concluding a contract.

2. Most rental organizations allow you to pay for the rental in cash, but many block a certain amount on the client's credit card. This is done, for example, so that in case of damage to the car, these funds can be used for repairs. Given this, the customer should ask the manager in detail about the purposes for which his funds can be used, and even ask when they will be unlocked.

3. Before picking up the car, you need to carefully inspect it in the presence of a company employee and write down all the shortcomings (cracks in the glass, dents, etc.), and then ask the manager to sign or stamp your copy of the contract. You should check the amount of fuel in the tank, because the car will need to be returned with the same. You can, of course, pay for the missing fuel when you return the car, but it will cost more than at gas stations.

4. Under no circumstances should documents be left behind   renting a car, as in the event of its theft, many troubles can arise. Of course, it is best to take everything of value from the salon, because rental companies are not responsible for things left in the car.

5. In the event of an accident, you need to stay where you are, take pictures of the consequences of the accident on your camera or phone, call the police without fail, and immediately report the incident to the landlord. In this case, you can expect that another car will be provided in a short time.

6. If you are going to travel abroad in a rented car, you need to clarify in advance which countries you can visit.

7. When returning the car, you must obtain appropriately executed documents confirming that the car was accepted in the same condition in which it was taken.

8. It is recommended to keep all car rental documents for at least a few weeks after the end of the rental, they may be needed in case of problems.
