What is the difference between car rental and car rental?
Today, not every person understands the difference between car rental and car rental, and whether it exists in principle. And here you can exhale a little - the differences, although there are, but they are insignificant.
What is car rental?
At its core, the service is very similar to a taxi. Only in the latter case, you pay for the mileage, and the rented car - for the time of use (hours, days). In general, the lease is an agreement, as a result of which the vehicle is transferred to the tenant along with the driver to perform one or more tasks. For example, to transport cargo, an organized group of people, etc.
The service is provided to individuals and legal entities with the obligatory conclusion of an agreement. At the same time, the company that rents vehicles takes care of all existing expenses, from paying for fuel to fines. The rent payment already includes all these expenses.
What is car rental?
Car rental is a service available exclusively to individuals. According to the contract, the client receives a car for personal use to solve his problems. The document specifies the term of use and the tariff. Rental time can range from a couple of hours to weeks and months.
To rent a car, you will need a driver's license, a certain driving experience and a deposit. But you can use it as you wish. Often, rental becomes an excellent solution for family outings, business trips. And also it is indispensable when you had to give your transport to the service, but you need to maintain mobility.
Fuel, fines, payment for parking a rental car falls on the shoulders of the tenant. It is returned in the same condition as it was taken.
Differences between rental and rental
There are differences between these services both from a legal and practical point of view. Thus, the lease involves the transfer of the object from the landlord to the tenant. Rental, in turn, is a subspecies of the lease agreement, under which it is movable property that is transferred.
From a practical point of view, from our experience, we have come to the conclusion that the difference between these services is whether you take a car with a driver (rental) or without one (rental). That is, when you order a car with a driver, it assumes that you entrust him with certain tasks. In this case, no requirements are imposed on the client.
And when a person drives a car at his own discretion, this is already a rental service. Therefore, he must have a driver's license, be able to drive and follow the rules of the company he applied to.
From a scientific point of view, there is no division between these definitions. Therefore, it will not be critical if you want to rent a vehicle without a driver, but tell the manager about the rental - he will understand the accompanying conditions.
